Project DescriptionLocated to the east of Tian'anmen Square and to the south of East Chang'an Avenue in the center of Beijing, the National Museum of China is opposite to the Great Hall of the People.
It is a comprehensive museum that pays equal attention to history and art, and integrates collection, exhibition, research, archaeology, public education and cultural exchange.
The National Museum of China has a total construction area of nearly 200,000 square meters, a collection of more than 1.4 million pieces and a number of 48 exhibition halls.
It is the largest museum in the world in terms of single construction area.
