Shenyang Olympic Sports Center

The roof of the stadium of Shenyang Olympic Sports Center is a metal structure roof with a gutter. According to the setting characteristics of the roof slope and gutter position, the water catchment area of the roof is divided.

The project is divided into 12 catchment areas. The roof catchment Wells are located at the four corners of the roof and centrally set at the lower part of the gouge. There are 12 catchment Wells in total, and 12 siphon drainage systems are designed. According to Shenyang weather characteristics, in order to prevent snow from the roof gutter cannot melt, specially equipped with 32 Joaboa self-developed PP Ⅲ - 89 (type electric heating) siphon rain, rain water bucket temperature uniformity, the electrical heating device does not overheat; automatic temperature control, self-limiting temperature, easy to automate management; Energy saving, low installation and operation cost, easy installation and maintenance.

Joaboa Tech actively cooperated with the construction progress of the general contractor in this project, and won unanimous praise from both the owner and the general contractor.

Shenyang Olympic sports center is one of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Venues, located in Shenyang new city core area, and Shenyang imperial palace, on the same landscape axis always covers an area of 25.33 hectares, with a total construction area of 103,992 ㎡, is a green energy saving, advanced domestic first-class comprehensive stadium which were constructed with many characteristics of the new era of science and technology.

The project was started in March 2006 and completed in June 2007. The construction period was only 16 months, creating a new Shenyang speed. The Olympic sports center has applied 10 categories of new technologies in the "China 10 New Technologies of Construction Industry" promoted by the Ministry of Construction, and 3 of the technical achievements have reached the international leading level.

The Olympic Sports Center has also been praised by domestic famous steel structure experts as comparable to the "Bird's Nest" of high quality engineering.
