In 2010, the National Railway Authority of Thailand began planning the construction of the double-track railway, a 24-year strategic blueprint to improve traffic, increase passenger capacity and transport more goods. Among them, Map Kabao-Thannon Chira Junction of the northeast line of double-track train is an important section in its strategic planning. Joaboa Tech has built a waterproof barrier for the improvement of Thailand's infrastructure transportation facilities with its innovative technical strength, high-quality product quality and perfect service system.
Thailand Double Track Railway Tunnel Project
Project Introduction: The total length of Thailand's dual-track railway is 134 kilometers, which was jointly designed by International Engineering Consultants and Amberg Infraestructuras. The project is divided into four contracts according to the content. The total contractor is Italain-Thai, which ranks the first in Thailand. Different contracts are jointly contracted with different general contractors. The construction of the project officially started in 2018. Italain-thai and Rail Tunnelling built the 12.4km tunnel project with a total investment of 9.29 billion baht (1.448 billion yuan). Among them, Ban Hin Lab has a total length of 5.2 kilometers, which is the longest railway tunnel in Thailand at present, with an overall waterproof area of about 300,000 square meters. This section of the project uses Joaboa Tech's 2.0mm PVC-H non-exposed waterproof membrane.
As we all know, rail transit engineering is a complex system engineering. In order to ensure the orderly operation of urban traffic, its engineering quality and safety are rooted in the details of every construction. Among them, the railway tunnel has strict waterproof requirements. If the waterproof construction is unreasonable and water leakage occurs, it will not only cause damage to the tunnel structure, but also affect the service life of the tunnel.
The complex and changeable geological conditions of the railway tunnel in this section, coupled with the hot weather and high and deep mountains, have brought great challenges to the construction and design of waterproof engineering. As the leader of high quality waterproof system, Joaboa Tech combined with years of technical strength and construction experience, has presented a mature waterproof system design scheme for railway tunnel engineering.
After receiving the project enquiry, the customer required to customize the products, Joaboa Tech Suzhou Production Base specially trial produced a batch of customized products, and obtained the product testing report. After receiving the products, the customer conducted quality inspection in Thailand, and the products passed the test, and their quality was highly recognized by the subcontractor and the general contractor, which promoted the long-term cooperation and development of both parties. It has also laid a solid foundation for the subsequent development of the Thai market.
Product Introduction of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Waterproof Membrane
Joaboa Tech's Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Waterproof Membrane is a kind of polymer waterproof material with superior performance, with polyvinyl chloride resin as the main raw material, adding various special additives and anti-aging components, using advanced equipment and advanced technology to produce products with high tensile strength, high elongation, small shrinkage rate, low temperature flexibility, long service life and other characteristics, product performance is stable, Reliable quality and convenient construction.
According to the composition of the product, it can be divided into 3 types: homogeneous type (PVC-H), fleece backing type (PVC-L), fabric reinforced type (PVC-P). Applicable to steel structure, concrete exposed and non-exposed roofing, planting roofing, basement and subway tunnel waterproofing works.
It is worth mentioning that Joaboa Tech has also carried out customized upgrading of PVC waterproof membrane, and passed the test of BV International Inspection Group, Bureau Veritas (BV for short), also known as the French Bureau for International Inspection and the French Classification Society, was founded in 1828, is one of the world's largest inspection companies and classification societies.
After the project is fully opened to traffic, it will greatly change and improve the operation efficiency of Thailand's double-track railway and promote the rapid development of local economy. At present, the project is still under intensive construction, and Joaboa Tech will, as always, devote the best quality products and the most meticulous services to the project, press the "acceleration button" for the development and construction of Thailand's transportation, and help its economy to improve quality and speed up!
